Your PURPOSE is Not Uncertain, You Are
...don't let the human in you talk you out of the soul in you.

Happy Monday Fam!
I realize that’s a heavy statement, and no, not everyone is uncertain, but it’s a contrarian idea I’d like for us to explore a bit more in-depth.
Deep down inside you actually know who you are and what you want to do.
I guarantee that.
How you get to that level of understanding about yourself is a different subject… one in which I want us to look further into.
We all come here with purpose.
You know it.
God knows it.
Our soul guides it.
Our intuition keeps turning us on to it.
And ultimately, it’s something we never really stop questioning until we are living it.
I have reflected heavily on this over the past year after putting my own self under consistent and curious observation.
Why is it that we inevitably know exactly what we want to do, ought to be doing and feel so immensely called to do, but also grapple with the “human-ness” like aspect of managing our physical world decisions that often counter our intuitive knowing?
Because… we’re just that… human
We “can” make things harder than they need to be simply because the thought of letting go of the control we have in a physical world for the lack of control we gain in the metaphysical one…
That is, letting go and letting God, our soul and our purpose guide us instead of the external making us make sense of who we are.
No data to derive from other than walking in faith, producing from our purpose and our purpose providing for ourselves and others.
The real question is… can you abandon what is “safe” for what is “certain,” especially when it feels “uncertain,” knowing you’ll have to trust your gifts and path without knowing the how?
And let me remind you that “safe” is an illusion because anything and everything can change at any given moment. Additionally, those who seek their purpose, usually become much more susceptible to change because they are forced to deal with it much quicker.
So, being that our intuition is the most powerful operating system we have within us, here are 8 observations I’ve discovered for myself that may be applicable to you…
8 Observations
You’re not uncertain, but you might need practice… practice listening to yourself, practice taking the right steps, even practice taking a wrong step or two to observe how you feel in any given moment.
When you’re honest, things move faster for you. They may not always feel good at the moment, but neither does any other form of “training.”
When you don’t know if you’re reading the “signs” right from God, ask for the “billboard.” When you need it clearer, ask for it.
Developing trust with ourselves is a marathon, not a sprint. Like any relationship, we have to ask the right questions and receive the right answers, even if they’re not the ones we’re expecting. Especially if they’re not the ones we’re expecting.
We have to detach from “needing” anything so we can learn to “be.” Needing signifies “without” and can distract our knowing (focus). Being signifies “within” and moves us further towards what’s already waiting for us.
Allow people into your life who hold you accountable to your purpose. They’ve been assigned a massive responsibility to you.
Don’t let the limits of being a human stop you from the limitlessness your soul can provide. Miracles and the “extraordinary” exist but they require you to let go of only what you see.
Spend 5 days in your purpose, even if it’s a vacation from your other life, and the contrast will be so great that the choice will be made for you.

SIMPLIFY…
When you don’t know whether you’re getting all of the right signs, ask for the billboard.
I mentioned this above as well, and I have found it’s helped many people including myself.
Often, we’re given answers to our most pressing questions, but we have a hard time trusting them as our guidance.
Either it’s because we’re in our head (and disconnected from our heart and God), or it’s because the signs are too subtle for us, or maybe it’s because we want to hear God more loudly.
When I’m unsure (actually sure inside, but need more “proof”), I ask God for the billboard… “Please make it more glaringly obvious for me to know it’s from You and what to do.”
Try it and see.
I’ve literally come across messages that couldn’t have been clearer, louder or more perfectly designed for me.
This has simplified many of my decisions.
MULTIPLY…
A person highly in-tune with their gifts and talents… who is connected to themselves and their soul… will yield far greater returns in this life than one who solely operates from the external.
Translation:
What we achieve in the physical from our own “control” is a fraction of what we can achieve with our soul. If you like what you’ve been able to do on your own, try trusting your intuition and God and see how much further you can go.
DIVERSIFY…
Trusting in the external will keep you boxed in… limited. Trusting in your purpose will bring you into far greater opportunities… both the ones you had always hoped for and the ones you didn’t even know you wanted.

In the meantime, tell your friends!
I love your tip on asking God for the "billboard" when feeling unsure of the "signs". My human mind needs little nudges along my path yet sometimes desires more than a nudge. This is a perfect way to focus and ask God. Thank you 🙏
Awesome newsletter, Matt! I’m so glad you’re writing these again!
Number 7 of your 8 tips really hit home for me because it’s what I’m working on most right now.
Being aware of this truth is one thing, but living it out is another. ;)
Daily goal is to get still, let the noise fade away, and allow the BEST part of me (my soul) to lead.
The most beautiful things come from a place of trust.
