Need to catch up?
No matter where you are in the journey of your life, I want you to fundamentally understand what I’m about to say…
You were always meant to fulfill a higher calling built from a deeper intrinsic knowing even if you have found yourself unsure at times.
We come here to create, period, full stop.
That is a vital truth from the moment we are conceived (created), to the moment we are birthed and for the rest of our existence while we are here on Earth.
We create
our art
our environments
our friendships
our “careers”
our hobbies
our partnerships / relationships
our words & mind
our health and bodies
and we do so from within… whether consciously, sub-consciously or habitually.
Yes, some circumstances are forced upon us that we have no initial control over such as home environments, educational systems, media, institutions and societal norms that decide what is and isn’t “realistic.”
And yes, that may have shaped our decision making in any of the above mentioned areas…
but this is also why at some point, most people begin to question their lives at a much deeper level because they know what they are looking for is not found externally.
They want to gain back their sovereignty, which ultimately takes responsibility and accountability… for their life… their health, their talents and gifts, their energy, their time, their relationships… everything.
Hence… creation.
And we don’t stand in creation alone.
We stand and co-create with God.
Our soul is a guidance system (GPS) for leveraging our talents and gifts to produce our purpose at scale and it’s in our “surrender” that we find our trust…
trust with ourselves, trust with our decision making, trust with our energy and trust with “uncertainty.”
So, why is this important…
Because if you do not have a relationship with your soul and your “creative” energy, the world will either dictate how you live, what you’re worth or what your value is…
and they (the world) are not you, nor God, so they are not ever going to be the foremost authority in your life. They were never “designed” that way.
Now, there were a lot of great things learned from the Industrial Age:
Streamlined efficiency
Structure, operational processes & standard operating procedures
Building systems
Finding and leveraging talent (you, me, all of us)
However, there were also some bad behaviors that emerged:
Exploitation of talent
Title-ism, credentialism & status to position unearned authority over skillset & talent
Lower emotional quotient (and in many cases skillset… see #2 title-ism above) in leadership which created distrust, inauthenticity & toxic work environments
Lack of adaptation, or slow to adapt, to new emerging digital technologies & the Internet
A disengaged, unqualified educational system in which grade school and college level students aren’t learning communication, creativity, intuition, nutrition & health, real world finances, spirituality, systems thinking, philosophy, accountability and more.
The capital labor pool is massively shifting and if you listen to the news you’ll be persuaded by their points of views, which are inherently deceptive and built upon the premise of their own doing.
The real great resignation is quite simple.
Universities don’t teach newer emerging skillsets and talents that many are learning via YouTube, online communities such as mine and Nadeem Al-hasan’s Build 1 Thing Creator Community, and a plethora of digital courses and academies.
This poses two situations… 1.) those learning outside the “system” are able to do it themselves and generate more income on their own from knowing these skills, and 2.) companies hiring talent out of college thinking they’ll be able to perform the same skills at a high level are drastically in for a rude awakening.
You can’t pay a college grad $40K who DID NOT learn from their professors what others are learning online, and expect them to give value to your company the way a digital professional who learned from all the right Internet resources.
The college grad thinks “marketing” is putting up a post on social media. A digital professional knows how to collaborate, cross-promote, copywrite, produce, distribute and automate. Concurrently, the digital professional is worth at least $80K at minimum.
Nearly every profession is seeing a shift. Either work for a set salary at a corporation that was built off the backs of the industrial age dynamics and has a ceiling for earning, personal development and growth… or take your CPA, nutrition, nursing, lawyer, engineering {fill in any profession here} to the Internet, build an audience and teach them how to use your skillsets in their lives and business in less hours, at scale, with a life and better pay. Do the math as to why more are jumping into the CREATOR ECONOMY.
Which leads me to explain the creator economy in a few words.
An economy, or market exchange of goods and services, from individual creators (1-2 person businesses), whereby a person who’s passionate about using their innate, God-given talents coupled with experience and skillsets, delivers value to others in need of their offerings.
In this economy, you have individuality, sovereignty, personal responsibility and accountability, and an unlimited amount of potential to earn as much as you’d like without micromanagement, gate keepers, title-ism or status to determine your worth.
So, let’s talk about your creativity and how it’s worth millions👇🏼
You Are the Most Powerful & Creative Operating System
Choosing a niche can feel like life or death until you realize the niche is you.
You are here to know your value, create your worth, serve others in the pursuit of your best self, learn to govern your kingdom and build a life.
I’m actually in the middle of launching a masterclass on this, and amidst the creation of it, I touched on the fact that our “professional” path is a blend of creative (your passions & talent), spiritual (your intuition) and technical (systems & output).
Creative - As we get to know ourselves, we get to know our interests, motivations, value and worth, which becomes what we manifest from our thoughts, feelings and emotions, and is delivered to others out of service.
Spiritual - By understanding our energy, intuition and relationship with our soul / God, we put faith in our creativity and purpose, which in turn becomes our disciplines and habits.
Technical - As we learn our disciplines & habits, we understand that systems & processes drive them and allow us to expand our creativity and purpose. We live in a time of leverage through the Internet, audiences and automation, all built on the back of your work ethic (integrity), creative output (value) and innovation (adaptation to modern technology)
Concurrently, your creativity is worth millions, which is why old school business paradigms will exploit it from you if you don’t use it yourself.
Now, let’s look further at honoring your gifts by scaling them.

Earn With Your Mind Not With Your Time
Early on in my Substack, I wrote an article about this. You can find it HERE.
The short short version, welcome to the Internet age.
As much as I wish it was, wealth cannot be earned trading your time for money.
Yes, you can earn a GREAT living, but you inevitably swap out one activity for another when you use time solely to earn a living.
In a recent post on Instagram, I said the following:
Some vital questions you can ask yourself is this…
If I can help 1 person, how can I deliver similar results to 10?
If I can deliver similar results to 10 people, how can I do it for 1,000?
How can I serve so my impact can reach more than 1 person at a time without sacrificing my quality of service delivery and intended results for them?
Bonus questions for your passions, business, art, etc.:
What is it that people you help usually have problems with?
What results do you continually get for them that alleviate these problems?
How can you develop a relationship with people you intend to serve at a faster pace? i.e. offering free services to welcome them into your world.
How can you help them now that they’re inside your circle?
What technology will you use to help more people coming in and at a price that works for both them and you (creating a win-win).
Of course, being of service first starts by being in the conversation.👇🏼
Creativity, Clarity & Consistency Put Your Worth on Display
We’re all worthy, but not all of us are in the conversation talking about the things that make us worthy.
Serving the masses starts with talking about our passions publicly… then creatively publishing our thoughts with clear intention and consistently showing up.
Do this for a day and you’ll understand a bit more of who you are.
Do this for a week and you’ll begin to understand more of your worth.
Do this for a month and you’ll begin to turn your worth into habits.
Do this for a year and you’ll never doubt your worth again.
Do this for 5, 10, 15 or 20 years and your habits will turn your worth into massive wealth and opportunities.
Creativity, clarity and consistency put your worth on display… and while external validation is never the goal, you’ll never have to defend your worthiness to anyone because your work will do the talking for you.

In the meantime, tell your friends!
Much like letty I don’t even know where to start on this one. My comment might be TLDR 😂💯🤷🏻♀️ Forewarned.
I really see myself in this weeks letter Matt! Immediately upon reading “You were always meant to fulfill a higher calling built from a deeper intrinsic knowing even if you have found yourself unsure at times.” I saw my lost, little 17 year old self completely unsure, a senior in high school, ditching class in the library to read 🤓 where I stubbled upon the massage therapy school recruiter. I thought “hey, I enjoy that. I’ll go there” I see now that I was so deeply & divinely guided in that moment. Thank you God. 💚🙏🏼
But I was in a subconscious, survival autopilot. Where I immediately went to work at a corporate massage envy where we were grossly underpaid & overworked. But because of my conditioning, limited belief systems & having been raised in poverty I just agreed & accepted all of this. It was certainly better than anything that came before.
But wouldn’t ya know it, when I started healing, releasing, reframing & loving myself I found myself no longer accepting things that had once been acceptable. It started with the seemingly little things and carried over to the monumental things.
I had to clear the path before I could pave it. And now I am in such deep co-creation with the creator I can feel it in every fiber of my being.
🤯🤯👏🏼👏🏼
Thank you. Thank you. Thank you Matthew.
Not sure where to begin with this one! It’s definitely everything I needed to hear at this point in my journey.
🙏💙
I will absolutely revisit this amazing letter!
